Would you like to scrap negative thinking and fill your spiritual plate with good things? If you're nodding, "Yes," author Nancy Pelander Johnson invites you on a journey to build a healthy spiritual outlook. She says, "If I can defeat negative thinking, so can you!"

Join Nancy as she shares stories of struggles with defeatist thinking. Desperate for change, she turned to God. Nine words changed her outlook—and her life. The "recipe" for optimism worked for her; it could help others, too.

Delve into the twenty-eight true stories in Just One Good Thing: A Faith Inspired Recipe for Optimism. Based on the lives of people today—and in Jesus's time, learn how they cast aside negative thoughts, dealt with negative circumstances, and sought optimism through God's goodness and Word.

Each "Daily Morsel" story is based on Scripture that includes the words "good thing" or "good things." A lesson worksheet follows each story with questions for study and self-reflection and a "recipe" to help you work toward a positive outlook each day.

Discover the goodness God has in store for you. Then, be prepared to sit at the table of optimism—where abundant servings of peace, hope, and joy await!

She'd keep this secret deeply hidden in her heart for as long as she lived.

That was the plan. There would be no deviation. So she thought…
