Greetings to You,
How is life treating you in this new year? I'm always glad for a chance to start over, to feel renewed. Perhaps you feel this way, too?
But good things—such as renewal, hope or peace—aren't always easy to find. The blessings that surround us sometimes go unnoticed, but just as our body requires replenishment , our soul needs replenishment, too.
The challenge in finding renewal is that our lives get busy. Yet, each day, the Master of Creation provides us with the gift of a new day; the opportunity to start over.
Then, maintaining renewal can also be a challenge when the feeling of "newness" wears off. Therein the "in-between times" can enter in—when one day feels like the next, but challenges still brim to overwhelm.
Life can get “kitchen messy,” you know? (Scrambled, sauteed, even a little crusty around the edges). I’ve been in that kitchen. Perhaps you have, too. But help awaits. A “spiritual clean-up cloth” can work wonders!
If you can use a dose of GOODNESS (a bit of hope, encouragement, or optimism), I invite you to indulge in "One-Page Ponderings of Something Good." Grab a cup of coffee or tea and give yourself a needed break.
It is my hope that these mini one-page stories with scripture will serve as a "spiritual vitamin" to refresh, re-energize, and renew you in this season and all through the year.
