Are you seeking renewal? If so, you're in the right place.
Renewal! You seek it—and need it—just as your body requires replenishment with food and water, your soul needs replenishment, too. So often, we need reprieve, but do not always take time for the small blessings that sometimes go unnoticed: the sweet fragrance of a flower, the warmth of sunlight on our skin, or waking to the sound of birds singing. At dawn, watch as rays of sunlight burst forth in hues of peach, yellow, pink, purple, or orange. Then, at day's end, gaze across the horizon as the night sky draws its velvet blanket across the land, as you prepare to sleep, another time of rejuvenation for your body, mind, and spirit.
Each day, the Master of Creation paints glorious a glorious sunrise and sunset, each "painting" uniquely different (like you!) The gift of a new day has been given to you—and with it, you have the opportunity to begin over again.
The feeling of renewal is wonderful! However, sometimes that feeling can get lost within our busy daily routines as we turn our focus elsewhere. Therein can enter the "in-between times," when one day feels like the next, with challenges that can brim to overwhelm.
Life can get “kitchen messy,” you know? (Scrambled, sauteed, even a little crusty around the edges). I’ve been in that kitchen. Perhaps you have, too. But help awaits. A “spiritual clean-up cloth” can work wonders!
If you can use a dose of GOODNESS (a bit of hope, encouragement, or optimism), I invite you to indulge in "One-Page Ponderings of Something Good." Grab a cup of coffee or tea and give yourself a needed break.
It is my hope that these mini one-page stories with scripture will serve as a "spiritual vitamin" to refresh, re-energize, and renew you.
