You Are Loved

Have you ever felt alone, even when life is busy and you have family and friends in your corner of the world?  
     If so, it's not unusual to feel that way. I've been there, too. I describe the feeling as a longing of the heart, a yearning for life to be perfect, where goodness reigns and everyone feels loved.  
     At times it seems there is an unfilled spot in my heart continually yearning for that perfection, even though I know it is not possible. If only human beings could be perfect!        
      A recent answer to prayer opened my eyes to the great need that we each have for love, and especially the need the world has for Christ's love. 
     For feelings of emptiness or longing, may we have the courage to trust, by placing our hearts in the hands of Jesus. I learned as a child that 'God is love,' and perhaps you did, too. Three simple words. One huge impact—with the potential to change the world.  
     May you always know the One who loves you unconditionally,  Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior of the world. And be assured of this:  
       You. Are. Loved!
